Hi Everyone,
This week I have an intense project for work that requires me to facilitate training for over 60 people all day every day and to work all evening preparing for the next day. It’s wonderful and rewarding and meaningful and exhausting. I miss chatting and tweeting with all my online pals and hope they/you won’t forget me! Also hope a few people might read this even though I won’t have time to spread the word about it.
One of the exercises we did this week was to create and share a self-poem. The first two words of each line are provided and you have to fill in the rest with whatever comes to mind. I thought I’d share what I wrote. If you want to create a self-poem and share it here also, I’d be thrilled ! 🙂
Love,
Patricia
PS-Next week’s post will be from Italy – holy crap! Did I just write that???
My Self-Poem
I am a mother and a wife, a teacher and a daughter, I am just me.
I hear music and laughter, tears and pain, the sounds of life.
I see beauty in nature, love in the faces all around me.
I am happy, sometimes sad, alive and aware, I am here.
I am tired and energized.
I think I can do it all, most of the time, but not always.
I feel so much, some good some bad.
I am complicated.
I am sometimes hard and sometimes soft.
I care too much.
I wish I could do more.
I am doing the best I can with what I have.
I am a dreamer.
I hope to make a difference.
I know I have much to learn.
I am fully human and filled with love and faith.
